The first few weeks of 2009 have been ummm, different, maybe that would be the best way to describe it. I really had intended to make this a great year but 2009 is determined to work against me, but I will not let it get me down. Everyone i'm sure is aware that there are many many companies making cuts, well the state is not immune to this. I offically became a victim of the State budget cut earlier this month. I was "laid off" due to budget cuts but I really see no returning to SCC for me. I did love my job at SCC, but all good things must come to an end. I have signed up on the Sub-list and sent out countless resume's. I have had 1 interview which took place this past Monday. I hope to hear from this by Friday at the latest, so please all keep your fingers crossed and keep it in prayer. I am not your sit-at-home type, I have been BORED TO TEARS all day today. I have always had at least 2 jobs, rarely have I have had less so having no job, nothing to do, kinda makes me feel as if I have no meaning. I have cleaned the baseboards, doors, and walls in my house twice since the first of December! I sure hope I find something soon or I may clean myself crazy!!! I am going to go to lunch tomorrow with my cousin, the highlight of my week, so Christy you better be ready to entertain me LOL.
