Finally Friday!

WOW!! I'm at it again, 3 days in a row, this could get dangerous. Anywho, was so glad today was Friday when I awoke today. Is it just me or do the weeks that we only have 3 or 4 workdays in them make the following week that much longer? Seems when the weekends are long, it takes the next one that much longer to get here. I think that the weekends and weekdays should be reversed. I mean who wouldn't want to work 2 days and be off 5!?!?! On another note, I'm stoked that Fall will be here in just a few days!!! I love this time of year, don't get me wrong, I love the beach and summer time too but I love love love FOOTBALL and FALL and FOOTBALL go hand in hand. So with that said GO COCKS!!!! Happy Friday to you all!!

A TRUE HERO in my eyes

Just wanted to share something that touched me today. I have been listening to the news cast and following the caringbridge website of the Marine that was injured while in Afghanistan who passed away on September 10. My heart breaks for his family and listening to the news and reading the updates has brought tears to my eyes serveral times. I witnessed the Motorcade that transported his body from the GSP airport to Gaffney today. This was the most touching thing I have witnessed in very very long time. I was only able to get a glimpse of this most amazing homecoming but it was still a breathtaking moment. Thanks to all of those that serve our country so that we may live free. And Thanks to all the Families of those who serve for the many sacrifices they make on a daily basis. It takes special people to do what you all do!!!
